ECOLOGIZATION OF NATURE MANAGEMENT —
A BASIS FOR MODERNIZATION OF ECONOMY
IN BALANCE WITH NATURE
The Nevsky International Ecological Congress is conducted regularly and provides the platform for:
• international cooperation in the sphere of ecological security and harmonization of environmental legislation of the CIS and the Council of Europe member states;
• discussion and exchange of experience in issues of introduction of mechanisms enhancing power efficiency of economies of the CIS member states;
• perfection of legislation in the sphere of resources-saving and territorial forms of protecting nature, preserving eco-systems and bio-diversity, introduction of institutional and technological innovations in the sphere of energy and water consumption, enhancement of the role of environmental upbringing and education of population, promotion of ideas of healthy life-style;
• development of dialogue between representatives of public powers, international specialized organizations, business circles, educational and scientific-research institutions, social organizations of the CIS member states and other countries of the world.
